About us

The inception of the RADO company should be dated back to 1999. Initially, the company provided services in the telecommunications market, dealing with the recycling of cables and telecommunications equipment. Over the years, it has expanded its activity, by entering the energy and railway markets.

Many years of experience and investments in the development of employees allowed us to build unique skills in the field of disassembly (sewage system, earth, poles) and processing of all types of cables. Efficient cable processing methods we developed and implemented allow for the recovery of high-quality secondary raw materials, used mainly in metallurgy as well as in the chemical and plastics industries.

The ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 14001 environment management system in place help us ensure the highest quality of business activities we pursue and increase efficiency and care for the natural environment.

1999

Establishment of PPUH Zdzisław Rado

founded by the current majority shareholder of companies in the Group and the President of the Management Board of RADO Sp. z o.o.

2007

Transformation into RADO Sp. z o.o.

PPUH Zdzisław Rado is transformed into a limited liability company – Rado Sp. z o.o.

2011

Establishment of the department of construction and maintenance of telecommunications networks

which specialises mainly in the design and construction of fibre optic networks

2012

Establishment of the RBS Media company

which includes the construction of telecommunications, copper, and fibre optic networks as well as low and medium voltage power networks.

2012

Launch of the Research and Development Centre at RADO Sp. z o.o.

so as to develop new technologies of recycling and production of advanced products with the content of non-ferrous metals and plastics.

2013

Small “smelter”

is launched so that the Company could start producing metal alloys, pig sows, and copper cathodes.

2014

Establishment of the R - Space Company

for the production of advanced products with the use of non-ferrous metals.

2015

Opening of a line to recycle

plastics and produce regranulate on the basis of which it is planned to launch the production of finished products.
We have implemented and obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certificate.

2016

Obtaining the ISO 9001-2004 and ISO 14001 certificates

The ISO 9001-2008 certificate confirms that the RADO company has implemented a quality management system in the field of recovery of raw materials and segregated materials. On the other hand, the ISO 14001 certificate confirms that the Company operates in line with the standard in which the International Organization for Standardization has included the requirements concerning the environmental management system. The fundamental task of the ISO 14001 standard is to support the environmental protection and to prevent pollution in a manner taking into account socio-economic needs (in accordance with the idea of sustainable development).

Processing of WEEE

The waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) processing plant is launched in Ławnica.
